30 July 2025<\/strong> Breathing in Confinement<\/strong> \u2013 The death sentence of at least one prisoner, who had been arrested and convicted of murder<\/em>, was carried out in the Central Prison of Tabriz.<\/p>\n According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Wednesday, 30 July 2025, a prisoner was executed in Tabriz Prison. The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed as Yousef Amiri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Yousef Amiri, 28 years old, was arrested four years ago on charges of murder and sentenced to death.
