Their identities have been confirmed as <strong>Sajad Zare (Ghashtasb)<\/strong> and <strong>Fouad Azar (Arab)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Both 35 years old and from Charam, located in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, Sajad Zare and Fouad Azar had previously been arrested and sentenced to death in a joint case on charges of murder. The day before their execution, the two were transferred to solitary confinement for the implementation of their sentences and were granted their final visit.<\/p>\n<p>The executions were carried out at dawn on Saturday, 2 August 2025, in Yasuj Central Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
