The identity of the prisoner, <strong>Saber Azizpour,<\/strong> has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"648\" data-end=\"965\">Saber Azizpour, 25, a resident of Harsin, had previously been arrested on charges of murder and sentenced to death. Efforts to obtain the consent of the victim\u2019s family (for forgiveness) were unsuccessful, and the sentence was carried out on the morning of Sunday, 3 August 2025, in Parsiloun Prison, Khorramabad.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
