His identity has been confirmed by this human rights organisation as <strong data-start=\"590\" data-end=\"616\">Amir Mohammad Faroughi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"621\" data-end=\"880\">Amir Mohammad Faroughi, 26, son of Hamzeh, from the village of Hajiabad Seyed in Qorveh County, had previously been arrested on a charge of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 20 August 2025, in Qorveh Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
