The prisoner has been identified as <strong data-start=\"454\" data-end=\"473\">Hassan Safarian<\/strong>, from <strong data-start=\"480\" data-end=\"507\">Karuni village (Shiraz)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"510\" data-end=\"650\">Safarian had previously been arrested on a murder charge and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on <strong data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"649\">27 August 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
