2 September 2025<\/strong> According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Tuesday, 2 September 2025, a prisoner was hanged in Ghezel Hesar Prison. The identity of this prisoner, \u201cHooman Garavand,\u201d<\/strong> has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.<\/p>\n Hooman Garavand, a native of the Sartorhan district in Kuhdasht, had previously been arrested on charges related to \u201cnarcotics offences\u201d and sentenced to death.
