The identity of this prisoner has been confirmed as <strong>Ebrahim Safarzai (Mingel)<\/strong> by Breathing in Confinement. The outlet had reported yesterday that a Baloch prisoner had been transferred to solitary confinement for the implementation of his sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Ebrahim Safarzai (Mingel), son of Ghafour, 22, originally from Zahedan and residing in Yazd, was arrested four years ago on charges of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to death. He was transferred to solitary confinement yesterday and had his final meeting with his family. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Thursday, 4 September 2025, in Yazd Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner\u00a0 has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
