Their identities have been confirmed as <strong data-start=\"541\" data-end=\"557\">Ahmad Rafiei<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"562\" data-end=\"589\">Gholamreza <\/strong>(first name).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"594\" data-end=\"891\">Ahmad Rafiei, a resident of Arak, had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on drug-related charges. Gholamreza had also been arrested in a separate case on drug-related charges and sentenced to death. The sentences were carried out at dawn on Sunday, 7 September 2025, in Arak Prison.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"594\" data-end=\"891\">\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
