Their identities have been confirmed as <strong data-start=\"657\" data-end=\"681\">Eskandar Bazmandegan<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"686\" data-end=\"702\">Hamid Kashfi<\/strong>. Breathing in Confinement had previously reported the execution of Eskandar Bazmandegan on 17 August. There is still no information available regarding the identity, fate, or status of the third defendant in the case.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"1576\"><strong data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"950\">Eskandar Bazmandegan<\/strong>, 37, from Bandar Khamir, and <strong data-start=\"980\" data-end=\"1007\">Hamid (Mohammad) Kashfi<\/strong>, 40, from Khur, Larestan, were arrested two years ago on security-related charges connected to the Shahcheragh attack case and sentenced to death. In this case, three prisoners had been sentenced to death by the Shiraz Revolutionary Court in May 2025 on the charge of <em data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1312\">complicity in corruption on earth.<\/em> The executions of Eskandar Bazmandegan and Hamid Kashfi, two of the defendants, were carried out at dawn on <strong data-start=\"1421\" data-end=\"1450\">Wednesday, 13 August 2025<\/strong>, in Adelabad Prison, Shiraz. However, no information is available on the fate or status of the third defendant in the case.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"1576\">\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
