They objected to exploitation by the Executive Headquarters and the IRGC Cooperative Foundation, disregard for Bylaw 24\/89, and non-payment of their entitlements. Protesters chanted:<br data-start=\"938\" data-end=\"941\" \/><em data-start=\"943\" data-end=\"993\">\u201cMobin Trust of the IRGC has stolen our rights,\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"993\" data-end=\"996\" \/><em data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1041\">\u201cTelecom abandoned, captured by bullies,\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"1041\" data-end=\"1044\" \/><em data-start=\"1046\" data-end=\"1083\">\u201cMajor shareholders, shame on you,\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"1083\" data-end=\"1086\" \/><em data-start=\"1088\" data-end=\"1131\">\u201cWe won\u2019t stop until we take our rights,\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1134\" data-is-only-node=\"\" \/><em data-start=\"1136\" data-end=\"1194\">\u201cNeither Parliament nor Government care for the people,\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"1194\" data-end=\"1197\" \/><em data-start=\"1199\" data-end=\"1245\">\u201cMajor shareholders have stolen our rights.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1249\" data-end=\"2043\">\n<p data-start=\"1251\" data-end=\"2043\"><strong data-start=\"1251\" data-end=\"1288\">Workers of South Pars Gas Complex<\/strong> (Refineries 2 and 5, Assaluyeh Site 1 and Kangan Site 2), <strong data-start=\"1347\" data-end=\"1374\">POGC platform employees<\/strong> (40 platforms), and employees of the Oil and Gas Operating Company in <strong data-start=\"1445\" data-end=\"1491\">Aghajari, Lavan and Assaluyeh Special Zone<\/strong> protested unpaid wages, discriminatory pay, and disregard for their demands. They called for: full implementation of operational zone allowances, removal of the salary cap, full payment of end-of-service benefits, cancellation of illegal pension deductions, refund of unlawfully withheld taxes, and implementation of Article 10 of the Ministry of Oil\u2019s duties and authorities. Contract workers of the <strong data-start=\"1893\" data-end=\"1939\">National Iranian Drilling Company in Ahvaz<\/strong> also gathered, demanding permanent employment status and the elimination of intermediary contractors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2045\" data-end=\"2193\">\n<p data-start=\"2047\" data-end=\"2193\"><strong data-start=\"2047\" data-end=\"2092\">Retirees of the IRIB (State Broadcasting)<\/strong> staged a protest over poor living conditions and the unfulfilled promise of a 50% salary increase.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2195\" data-end=\"2355\">\n<p data-start=\"2197\" data-end=\"2355\"><strong data-start=\"2197\" data-end=\"2230\">Workers of Pouya Nakh Company<\/strong> gathered in front of the Governor\u2019s Office to protest unpaid wages, job insecurity, and repeated shutdowns of the factory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2357\" data-end=\"2610\">\n<p data-start=\"2359\" data-end=\"2610\"><strong data-start=\"2359\" data-end=\"2413\">Workers of Iran Aluminium Company (IRALCO) in Arak<\/strong> continued their strike for the 41st consecutive day. They protested unpaid wages, failure to implement the job classification scheme, violation of their rights, and mismanagement of the factory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2612\" data-end=\"2885\">\n<p data-start=\"2614\" data-end=\"2885\"><strong data-start=\"2614\" data-end=\"2661\">Defrauded customers of Ramak Khodro Company<\/strong> gathered in Tehran to protest the non-enforcement of judicial rulings, nine years of uncertainty regarding their investments, and behind-the-scenes protection of the company. They chanted: <em data-start=\"2851\" data-end=\"2883\">\u201cRamak Khodro relies on whom?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2887\" data-end=\"3230\">\n<p data-start=\"2889\" data-end=\"3230\"><strong data-start=\"2889\" data-end=\"2919\">Qashqai citizens in Shiraz<\/strong> staged a protest against distortion of their identity and insults towards the Qashqai community. Likewise, <strong data-start=\"3027\" data-end=\"3043\">Lur citizens<\/strong> protested outside the Governor\u2019s Office against the \u201cinsult to the authentic Lur culture\u201d in the television series <em data-start=\"3159\" data-end=\"3169\">Suvashun<\/em>, demanding the broadcast be stopped and the series banned.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3232\" data-end=\"3347\">\n<p data-start=\"3234\" data-end=\"3347\"><strong data-start=\"3234\" data-end=\"3268\">Residents of Laleh Abad, Babol<\/strong> gathered in front of the local Water Department to protest the water crisis.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3349\" data-end=\"3611\">\n<p data-start=\"3351\" data-end=\"3611\"><strong data-start=\"3351\" data-end=\"3426\">Victims of the Shafagh, Morvarid, and Negin Gharb construction projects<\/strong> protested on Keshavarz Boulevard in Tehran and in front of the Judiciary\u2019s central headquarters, demanding compensation for their losses and the restoration of their violated rights.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>8 September 2025News Group: Protests &ndash; Ethnic Minorities &ndash; Pensioners &ndash; Workers and Guilds &ndash; Breathing in Confinement &ndash; At least 26 demonstrations and protest actions were held by various groups of people across Iran.
