The identity of this prisoner, <strong>\u201cFarhad Sepahvand,\u201d<\/strong> has been confirmed by <em data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"659\">Breathing in Confinement<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"941\">Farhad Sepahvand, a resident of Khorramabad, had been arrested 13 years ago, on 13 September 2012, on charges of \u201cdrug offences\u201d and \u201cpossession of weapons,\u201d and was sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Sunday, 14 September 2025, in Khorramabad Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
