The identity of this prisoner, <strong>\u201cMojtaba Buzhabadi,<\/strong>\u201d has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"658\" data-end=\"902\">Mojtaba Buzhabadi, from the village of Mohammadabad in Nishapur, had previously been arrested on charges related to \u201cdrug offences\u201d and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Monday, 15 September 2025, in Sabzevar Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
