The identity of this prisoner, <strong>\u201cSaeed Ghobadi,<\/strong>\u201d has been confirmed by <em data-start=\"606\" data-end=\"632\">Breathing in Confinement<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"916\">Saeed Ghobadi, son of Ghobad, from the village of Dolangan Olya in Sarpol-e Zahab County, had been arrested seven years ago on the charge of murdering his wife and was sentenced to death. His execution was carried out at dawn on Sunday, 21 September 2025, in Kermanshah Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
