The identities of <strong>\u201cKazem Jameh Shourani\u201d <\/strong>and <strong>\u201cSaeed Ghobadi\u201d<\/strong> have been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement. In addition, according to the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, the death sentence of another prisoner, <strong>\u201cHadi Nowruzi,\u201d<\/strong> was carried out at the same time.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"834\" data-end=\"1380\">Kazem Jameh Shourani, son of Rostam Beg, 27, from Kermanshah, had been arrested a year and a half ago on the charge of murdering his cousin and was sentenced to death. Saeed Ghobadi, son of Ghobad, from the village of Dolangan Olya in Sarpol-e Zahab County, had been arrested seven years ago on the charge of murdering his wife and was sentenced to death. Hadi Nowruzi had also previously been arrested on a charge of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to death. Their executions were carried out at dawn on Sunday, 21 September 2025, in Kermanshah Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
