Their identities have been confirmed as <strong>Reza Ansari <\/strong>and <strong>Saeed Parsaei.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Saeed Parsaei, 40, from Shiraz, was arrested four years ago on charges related to \u201cnarcotics\u201d and sentenced to death. Reza Ansari had also previously been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death. The executions were carried out at dawn on Sunday, 28 September 2025, in Jiroft Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
