Breathing in Confinement – During the last few days, at least 27 prisoners have been executed in different cities of Iran.<\/p>\n

According to the report of \u201cBreathing in Confinement\u201d, from 25th<\/sup> till 30th<\/sup> July, at least 27 death sentences were implemented, including 3 public executions in different cities of Iran. Also, a woman and two Afghan citizens were among the executed prisoners.<\/p>\n

Tasnim News Agency reported the execution of 3 prisoners on charge of rape in Central Prison of Ilam on Saturday 25th<\/sup> July. They reported these people\u2019s name as \u201cA. K.\u201d, \u201cR. A.\u201d, and \u201cN. SH.\u201d.<\/p>\n

HRANA News Agency also has reported separately, the execution of 11 others on 27th<\/sup> July, 4 on 29th<\/sup> July, and 5 executions on 30th<\/sup> July in various cities of Iran.<\/p>\n

According to these reports, in the morning of 27th<\/sup> July 2015, at least two prisoners named Firuz Noori Majd, and Saeid Ganji (Ganjavi) in Ghezelhesar prison, and 9 inmates named Omid Mohammadi Dara, Mostafa Ghafarizadeh, Omid Reza Karampour, Shahriar Hassanzadeh, Hosein Afghan, Yareh Hassanzadeh, Sasan Salari, Meisam Hasani-nezhad, and Amanullah Baluchzehi were hanged in Karaj Central Prison.<\/p>\n

The same source has also reported execution of 4 prisoners on charge of drug trafficking in Esfahan prison. HRANA News Agency has not mentioned the identities of those 4 people but has specified that two of them were Afghan citizens, who were executed on 29th<\/sup> July.<\/p>\n

Another report from this News Agency indicates the execution of 5 people in the prison of Shahab in Kerman, on 30th<\/sup> July. This report gives the identity of just three of them as; Ezat Saboki, Meysam Shahraki and Ali zehi, saying that one of the executed prisoners was a woman.<\/p>\n

In another report, public relation of Justice General Office of Ardabil Province has announced the execution of a prisoner accused of cooperation in drugs related crimes in this city\u2019s prison, on 31st<\/sup> July. The report did not mention the identity of this person.<\/p>\n

Young Journalists Club also reported the execution of 3 people in public, in Alborz province, on 29th<\/sup> July.<\/p>\n

The accusation of these people was reported as rape, but the report did not mention their identity.<\/p>\n
