The identities of the prisoners \u2014 <strong data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"500\">Milad Kiani<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"505\" data-end=\"526\">Behnam Mir-Ahmadi<\/strong> \u2014 have been verified by Breathing in Confinement. The outlet had previously reported the transfer of two prisoners to solitary confinement in Isfahan Prison in preparation for execution.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"717\" data-end=\"1052\">Milad Kiani, from Mina Dasht, Falavarjan, had earlier been arrested on a charge of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to death. Behnam Mir-Ahmadi, from Isfahan, had previously been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death. Their sentences were carried out at dawn on Monday, 29 September 2025, in Isfahan Central Prison.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"717\" data-end=\"1052\">\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
