The identity of this prisoner has been confirmed as <strong>Seyed Abolfazl Seyed Hosseini.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seyed Abolfazl Seyed Hosseini, a resident of Saveh and father of three young daughters, had previously been arrested on charges of murdering a man named Rasouli during a dispute and was sentenced to death. Efforts to obtain the victim\u2019s family\u2019s consent (to forgive or accept compensation) were unsuccessful, and the sentence was carried out at dawn on Monday, 6 October 2025, in Saveh Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
