The identity of this prisoner, <strong>Ehsan Pour-Masoumi,<\/strong> has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.<\/p>\n<p>Ehsan Pour-Masoumi, a native of Sirjan, was arrested three years ago on charges of murdering a man from the Bachaghchi tribe and subsequently sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Tuesday, 14 October 2025, in Sirjan Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
