The prisoner\u2019s identity, <strong data-start=\"399\" data-end=\"416\">Mehdi Hamze\u2019i<\/strong>, has been verified.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"438\" data-end=\"681\"><strong data-start=\"438\" data-end=\"455\">Mehdi Hamze\u2019i<\/strong>, from Arak, had previously been arrested on drug-related charges, including transporting 148 grams of heroin, and was sentenced to death. His sentence was carried out at dawn on 18 October 2025 in Arak Prison.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"438\" data-end=\"681\">\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
