21 October 2025<\/strong> Breathing in Confinement \u2013<\/strong> A prisoner has died in Shiraz Prison due to a delay in being transferred to hospital.<\/p>\n According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, on Tuesday, 21 October 2025, a prisoner died in Shiraz Prison after a delay in his transfer to hospital. The identity of the prisoner, Sajjad Shabani,<\/strong> has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.<\/p>\n Based on the information obtained, Mr Sajjad Shabani, a prisoner convicted of non-political offences and the father of three children, had previously undergone heart surgery and was due to have a second operation.
