21 October 2025<\/strong> Breathing in Confinement \u2013<\/strong> Ehsan Faridi,<\/strong> a 22-year-old student and political prisoner sentenced to death, who was transferred three days ago to the Tabriz Intelligence Department, has been returned to Tabriz Central Prison.<\/p>\n According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, Faridi was taken to the Intelligence Department\u2019s detention facility for three days and has now been brought back to Tabriz Central Prison. Reports indicate that a hearing in his case is scheduled for Thursday, 23 October 2025, at Branch Nine of the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n Per publicly shared information, including an Instagram post by his mother, Parvin Hayati, Faridi was first arrested in 2023, released on bail on 18 March 2025, and initially sentenced to six months\u2019 imprisonment for \u201cpropaganda against the state\u201d and eighteen months in another part of the same case.
