The identity of the executed prisoner has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement as <strong>Mohammad Toghderi.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mohammad Toghderi, a resident of Chay Qushan Bozorg village in the Gonbad region, had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of \u201cmurder.\u201d The sentence was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, in Gonbad Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
