29 October 2025<\/strong> Breathing in Confinement \u2013<\/strong> The death sentences of at least four prisoners who had been arrested and convicted on charges of \u201cmurder\u201d were carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison.<\/p>\n According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, four prisoners were executed in Ghezel Hesar Prison. The identity of one of them, Zakaria Mohammad Khanlou, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement, while the identities of the others are still under investigation.<\/p>\n Zakaria Mohammad Khanlou, 39, a resident of Tehranpars, had previously been arrested on charges of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to death.
