The identity of this prisoner has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement as <strong>Yaqub Daji.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yaqub Daji, a native of Ilam Province, had been arrested three and a half years ago on charges of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, in Ilam Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
