The identities of these prisoners \u2014 <strong data-start=\"721\" data-end=\"776\">Mohammad Hossein Khazaei, Davoud Najafi, and Farhad<\/strong> (surname unknown) \u2014 have been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"1236\">Mohammad Hossein Khazaei, from Tehran, had previously been arrested on the charge of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to death.<br data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"969\" \/>Davoud Najafi had also been arrested in a separate case on the charge of \u201cmurder\u201d and sentenced to death.<br data-start=\"1074\" data-end=\"1077\" \/>Farhad, an Afghan national (surname unknown), had previously been arrested on the charge of murdering a Kurdish citizen named Ramin and was sentenced to death.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1332\">The sentences were carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, in Ghezel Hesar Prison.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1332\">\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
