The identity of the executed prisoner is under review.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1373\">The prisoner, a resident of Kangan, had been arrested on 20 March last year on a charge of \u201cmurder\u201d after an altercation that resulted in the death of a man named Jalal Ahmadzadeh. He was sentenced to death, and the sentence was carried out in the early hours of Wednesday, 3 December 2025, in Kangan Prison.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
