The identity of the executed prisoner has been confirmed as <strong data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"768\">Vihan Shahmohammadi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"771\" data-end=\"972\">Vihan Shahmohammadi had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of <em data-start=\"857\" data-end=\"868\">\u201cmurder.\u201d<\/em> His execution was carried out in the early hours of Saturday, 27 December 2025, in Sanandaj Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official sources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Report on Executions in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the annual report by the Statistics Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, at least 1,170 individuals were executed in Iran in 2024.
