At the time of writing, <strong data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"705\">no information<\/strong> has been released regarding the reasons for his arrest, the authority issuing the arrest order, or any potential charges against him.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"841\" data-end=\"1462\">On Wednesday, 4 February 2026, Mr Sharifzadeh had published a report addressing the conditions faced by families of those detained during the January protests, describing the <strong data-start=\"1020\" data-end=\"1054\">atmosphere of fear and anxiety<\/strong> prevailing among these families. In that report, he emphasised that many families seeking information about the legal status of their children were confronted with <strong data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1248\">ambiguity and uncertainty<\/strong>. He also noted that, in certain cases of a security-related nature, <strong data-start=\"1317\" data-end=\"1376\">restrictions are imposed on the choice of legal counsel<\/strong>, which he argued may be inconsistent with established legal principles and standards.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1464\" data-end=\"1865\"><strong>Hadi Sharifzadeh<\/strong> has previously faced judicial summons and proceedings.
