Breathing in Confinement:<\/strong> The death sentence of a prisoner, previously arrested and sentenced to death on charges of \u201cmurder\u201d, has been carried out in Sanandaj Prison.<\/p>\n

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, in the early hours of Monday, 25 May 2026, a prisoner was hanged in Sanandaj Prison. The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement as Farhang Sheikhleh.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the report, Farhang Sheikhleh<\/strong> had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of murdering a law enforcement officer. The sentence was carried out in the early hours of Monday, 25 May 2026, in Sanandaj Prison.<\/p>\n
