The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed by <em>Breathing in Confinement<\/em> as <strong>Vahid Arman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, <strong>Vahid Arman<\/strong>, a resident of Kerman, had previously been arrested on charges of \u201cmurder\u201d and was subsequently sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out in the early hours of Friday, 5 June 2026, in Kerman Prison.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official announcement<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the time of publication, no official sources had announced the execution of this prisoner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual report on executions in Iran<\/strong><br \/>\nAccording to the annual report of the Statistical Centre of the Prisoners&#8217; Rights League in Iran, between March 2025 and March 2026, at least 2,616 individuals were executed in Iran. Of these, 12 executions were carried out in public.
