The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement as <strong>Ahmadreza Torabi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, <strong>Ahmadreza Torabi,<\/strong> a member of the Papi tribe, had previously been arrested on charges of murder and was subsequently sentenced to death. His execution was carried out in the early hours of Thursday, 14 May 2026, in Khorramabad Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official announcement<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the time of publication, no official sources had announced the execution of this prisoner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual report on executions in Iran<\/strong><br \/>\nAccording to the annual report of the Statistical Centre of the Prisoners&#8217; Rights League in Iran, between March 2025 and March 2026, at least 2,616 individuals were executed in Iran. Of these, 12 executions were carried out in public.
