The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement as <strong>Bahaeddin Vahidi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, <strong>Bahaeddin Vahidi,<\/strong> a Turkmen citizen from Jargalan, was arrested six years ago on charges of murder and was subsequently sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out in the early hours of Wednesday, 10 June 2026, in Bojnord Prison.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No official announcement<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the time of publication, no official sources had announced the execution of this prisoner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual report on executions in Iran<\/strong><br \/>\nAccording to the annual report of the Statistical Centre of the Prisoners&#8217; Rights League in Iran, between March 2025 and March 2026, at least 2,616 individuals were executed in Iran. Of these, 12 executions were carried out in public.
