{"id":782,"date":"2016-04-09T17:48:11","date_gmt":"2016-04-09T17:48:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bciran.org\/wplocationen\/?p=782"},"modified":"2016-04-20T17:48:41","modified_gmt":"2016-04-20T17:48:41","slug":"demonstration-in-tehran-against-transferring-the-museum-of-art-to-the-private-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bciran.org\/wplocationen\/freedom-of-expression\/demonstration-in-tehran-against-transferring-the-museum-of-art-to-the-private-sector","title":{"rendered":"Demonstration in Tehran against Transferring the Museum of Art to the Private Sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Breathing in Confinement &#8211; A group of people in Tehran gathered in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art, to protest against the privatization of this institution.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report of \u201cBreathing in Confinement\u201d, about three hundred people in Tehran gathered in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art in this city to protest against transferring this museum to the private sector.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to one of the participants in the rally, after a while, one of the museum officials attended the gathering of people and denied the institutions transference to the private sector and called it a \u201cmisunderstanding\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He has been trying to lead demonstrators from the street to the Laleh Park, but faced the slogan of \u201cRight here, right here\u201d by the audience and was forced to retreat.<\/p>\n<p>Then, the chairman of the museum showed up among the people while having some scrolls in his hand which were written by some officials against this decision and was signed by them.
