According to reporters from Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was hanged in Ahvaz Prison in the early hours of Sunday, 14 June. The prisoner\u2019s identity has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement as Seyed Adnan Mousavi<\/b>.<\/p>\n
According to the report, Seyed Adnan Mousavi (also known as<\/strong> Abu Hassan<\/b>)<\/strong>, a resident of Ramshir, had been arrested three years ago on charges of murder following a physical altercation and was subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary. \nAccording to the annual report of the Statistical Centre of the Prisoners\u2019 Rights League in Iran, between March 2025 and March 2026, at least 2,616 individuals were executed in Iran.
