According to reporters of Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Peyman Ganji, who is currently being held in Greater Tehran Prison, was tried by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari, and sentenced to death on charges of moharebeh.

According to the report, following the submission of an appeal, the case of the 33-year-old prisoner has been referred to Branch 9 of the Supreme Court for final review.
