Breathing in Confinement: Mostafa Salehi, who had been arrested during the protests in December 2017, was executed in Isfahan prison at dawn on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Mostafa Salehi, was one of the December 2017 protesters, from the Conty of Kahriz Sang, in the Central District of Najafabad City, in Isfahan Province. He had been arrested in February, 2019 and had been sentenced to death on charge of killing a bassiji (pro-governmental militia).

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Mostafa Salehi, one of the detainees of the December 2017 protests, was executed in Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan on morning of August 5, 2020. To serve his death sentence, he had been transferred to solitary confinement on Monday, August 3.
