Mass Arrest of the Youth in Tabriz for “Breaking Their Fast”

Breathing in Confinement – Security police of Tabriz raided Hotel Shahriar in this city, and arrested 150 young people for “Breaking the Fast” in Ramadan.
According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, on 22nd June, in a raid on the lobby of Hotel Shahriar in Tabriz, police forces arrested young people who were eating in this place.
These people were transferred to the security police in Saeb Street in Tabriz, by 3 buses.
A member of one of the families of these young people, in an interview in this regard, with the reporter of “Breathing in Confinement”, said: “Currently, the families of these people have gathered in front of the Security Police building in Saeb Street, and demanding clarification of their children’s situation.”
He also added: “A few policemen have gone on the roof of the building and are filming the families and a young man, who wanted to photograph the gathering, was also arrested.”
It is to say that, every year, during the Ramadan, Iran’s police arrest the youth in public under the excuse of breaking their fasts.
