Vahid Fereydoni released from Evin Prison on bail

Breathing in Confinement: On Saturday, May 28, 2022, Vahid Fereydoni, a trade union activist of the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company, and one of the arrested drivers of BRT lines, was released from Evin Prison on bail awaiting the court’s decision.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Vahid Fereydoni, a trade union activist who had been arrested during the protest strike of Vahed Bus Company, was released on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
It should be noted that Vahid Fereydoni had been arrested by security agents on May 16, 2022, during a protest sit-in by the drivers of the Vahed Bus Company in Tehran and transferred to Evin Prison.
After completing his interrogation in Evin’s Ward 209 under control of the Ministry of Intelligence, Mr. Fereydoni was transferred to Andarzagah 4 in Evin Prison where he was detained under uncertain conditions.
