Security forces in Sanandaj detain two citizens

Breathing in Confinement: Bahram Ghasemi and Keyhan Shirini, two Kurdish citizens were arrested by security forces and were taken to an unknown location.

According to the Kurdistan Center for Democracy and Human Rights, two citizens from Sanandaj were arrested by security forces on charge of having links with a Kurdish party. After being arrested, they were taken to an unknown location. The detainees are 21-year-old Keyhan Shirini, son of Adak, and 35-year-old Bahram Ghasemi, son of Saleh, from Mirab village in Javroud area, Sanandaj.

Despite searches and follow-ups of their families, the judicial and security centers in Sanandaj have not yet provided accurate information about these detainees’ whereabouts.
