Breathing in Confinement, January 11, 2021: Amnesty International called the Islamic Republic Supreme Leader’s decision to ban millions of Iranians from having access to the vital British and American-made coronavirus vaccines, a disregard for the right to life and the right to health.
Amnesty International writes that Ali Khamenei is playing with the lives of millions of people. The Iranian authorities must immediately end this shameful disregard for human rights obligations.
Amnesty International continues: “Every human being has the right to benefit from protection against the coronavirus, and vaccines that have been shown to be safe and effective play a key role in achieving this.
