Breathing in Confinement – A 17-year-old Arab civilian was arrested along with his father.

According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, intelligence agents along with police forces raided the village of Beit Mahmid of the city of Shoosh and arrested two Arab civilians and transferred them to an unknown location on Wednesday June 15.

According to informed sources, the security forces went twice to the village and first arrested Rasool Salimi (Kaabi), 17, after two hours of inspections, and later on the same day his father, Naji Salimi (Kaabi), 47, was arrested.

According to the local human rights activists, Naji Salimi had been detained in 2008 and was released after 4 years of imprisonment in Karoon and Sepidar prisons.

So far, the family of Salimi (Kaabi) has no information regarding the reason of Naji and his son Rasool Salimi’s arrest and their whereabouts.
