However, the officials of Islamic Republic have released contradictory news regarding the number and location of the execution of these prisoners.

The Judiciary of Kurdistan Province released a statement and announced the execution of several members of a “Takfiri” group and claimed that they had been executed in Sanandaj.

This statement said that the executed prisoners had murdered Molla Mohammad Sheikholeslam and Borhan Aali, however in February 2015, 6 other Kurdish prisoners of conscience, namely Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Hadi Hosseini, Kamal Molaei, Sadigh Mohammadi, and Hamed Ahmadi were executed for the same accusation.

The Prosecutor General also told in an interview with Radio Payam that “20 prisoners” had been executed.
