60 Death Row Prisoners of Ghezel Hesar Prison Transferred to 2 other Prisons

Breathing in Confinement – 60 death row prisoners of Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj have been transferred to two other prisons in this city.

According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, in the morning of 30^th December 2014, 60 prisoners were transferred from Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj to Rajai Shahr prison and Central Prison of Karaj.

All of these prisoners are sentenced to death on charges of drug trafficking and this abrupt transference, has sparked concerns in relation to their executions implementation.

30 of these prisoners were transferred to hall 11 of ward 4 in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, and the other 30, to Central Prison of Karaj.
