Mustafa Gholamnezhad Arrested in Tehran

Breathing in Confinement – Mustafa Gholamnezhad, social activist, was arrested in Tehran on May 23.

According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, Mustafa Gholamnezhad, a philosophy of science graduate from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran was arrested in Tehran and transferred to an unknown location at 6 pm on May 23.

After his arrest, officers went to his house and after searching his house took a number of books and also his laptop with them.

Mustafa Gholamnezhad, had previously also been arrested in University of Tabriz students’ protests in June 2003, and was detained for a short time in Tabriz intelligence office.

The physics student at Tabriz University was arrested on June 15, 2003, and detained for 18 days.
