Breathing in Confinement – 15 women who have been protesting the corruption of Caspian Financial Institute were transferred to women’s ward of Evin prison.

According to the report obtained by Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran (PRLI), these women were sent to this ward on 4 August 2019.

Caspian is a financial institute with 121 branches all over the country.

Its activities faced difficulties after a sub-institute of Caspian lacked a credit of 56 thousand billion IRR and people rushed to take back their money.

This institute blocked people’s money and took back their interest.

This caused vast protests in many cities of Iran.
