Breathing in Confinement: On Saturday morning, a 16-year-old girl attempted suicide at Chamran Bridge in Isfahan.
According to Rokna, on Saturday, November 3, 2019, Abbas Abedi- the spokesman of Isfahan Province Emergency Center, reported a suicide attempt in the city by a 16-year-old girl.
Abedi announcing the news said: “This morning at 10:18, the teenage girl’s suicide attempt at Chamran Bridge, was reported to Emergency Command Headquarters in Isfahan.”
The spokesman of Isfahan Province Emergency Center continued: “Isfahan emergency personnel receiving the call, immediately appeared at the scene. However, as the girl was not physically injured, she did not take any action. According to the dispatched staff and local witnesses, the girl who had been rescued by the firefighters was transferred to the police station.
The reason or reasons behind her suicide attempt is not ascertained.
