Breathing in Confinement: A citizen named Abbas Sedighi from Piranshahr, being arrested by the security forces for unknown reasons was transferred to an unknown location.
According to the Kurdistan Center for Democracy and Human Rights, on Friday, May 15, 2020, the security forces arrested a citizen from the eastern Lahijan district of the County of Piranshahr and transferred him to an unknown location.
The person has been identified as “Abbas Sedighi” who is a resident of Shalim Jaran village in Piranshahr. He was beaten and arrested without being presented a warrant.
Despite his family’s visit to Piranshahr’s judicial and security centers, the reason for his arrest and his whereabouts are yet to be known.
