Detention of three Baha’i citizens in Rafsanjan

Breathing in Confinement: On Sunday, June 7, security officers raided the homes of three Baha’i citizens in Rafsanjan, confiscated their personal belongings, including mobile phones and books, and then transferred them to an unknown location.

“Three citizens named Nahid Naeemi, Didar Ahmadi and Boshra Mostafavi were detained and taken to an unknown location, following the security forces’ raid on their houses,” reported Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran.

During a raid on their home, security officers confiscated personal belongings of these three citizens including; their mobile phones, computers, and books. The reason for their arrest is yet to be announced.

In recent weeks there has been increased pressure against Baha’i citizens in the cities of Isfahan, Shiraz, and Yazd.
