Two prisoners saved from execution in Tabriz and Ilam

Breathing in Confinement: In Tabriz prison, a young man sentenced to death for murder, was saved from the death penalty by the consent of the victim’s family.

According to Rokna news agency, quoting Salman Lotfi, head of the judiciary in Khajeh district, East Azerbaijan province, a young man convicted of murder who had been on the death row since 2016, returned to life after being pardoned by the blood owners.

 

 

Another prisoner, sentenced to death for committing murder in a family dispute, saved from retribution with the consent of the victim’s family, reported Fars News Agency, quoting Ali Moradi, head of the Dispute Resolution Councils in Ilam province.
